Patience, Grasshopper

Written by Mark Van Steenwyk : April 20, 2007

I’ve been out of town most of this week and I’m leaving in about 7 hours for Chicago.  Tonight (Friday), I’m going to be sharing at Up/Rooted.  If you’re in the Chicago area, stop by.

Though I’ve been traveling a lot this week, I have much to blog about.  I’ve started posts on:

  1. Deconstruction and Ministry (reflections on my time in Philadelphia)
  2. The Holy Spirit (continuing with my previous posts…and moving towards a constructive proposal of a “lived in” pneumatology)
  3. Alternative Economics (some economic implications of Christian Anarchism)

But I’ve decided not to post these things…yet.  Why? Partly because I’ve been rushing around too much to explore these three areas enough to post on them.  However, my big reason is that I’m not ready to move on from my most recent posts on pneumatology.

I’d like to engage in a bit of dialogical theology.  In other words, I want some of you to weigh in more about the personhood of the Spirit (or lack thereof) and the difference it makes.  So, after more folks have chimed in, I’ll continue to explore it on this blog.

Next week, I’ll blog on the things mentioned above…and more!  And don’t forget–I still need your money!
